Our Process
Landscape Design
Landscape & Garden Design
Our design team takes a thoughtful, long-term approach to creating landscapes that are both refined and highly functional. Guided by ecological design principles and a deep understanding of how landscapes evolve, we develop considered designs suited to properties of all sizes — from compact residential gardens through to larger rural landscapes.
Each design responds carefully to the existing natural features of the land, climate and built environment. We work with the inherent strengths of the site to create cohesive, resilient and enduring outdoor spaces that feel grounded and purposeful.
Balancing beauty, usability and long-term performance, our designs prioritise spatial flow, planting structure, material integrity and maintenance practicality. The result is a landscape that not only looks exceptional upon completion, but continues to mature and strengthen over time.
Whether shaping a new landscape or refining an existing space, we collaborate closely with our clients to translate ideas into clear, intentional designs that form the foundation for landscapes built to endure.

Our Design Process
Step 1. Consultation
One of our landscape designers will visit your property for a free 30-minute, no-obligation consultation. During this visit, we’ll explore your vision and ideas while gathering the key insights needed to ensure we’re the right fit for your goals.
We’ll assess your property’s layout, aspect, infrastructure, soil health and existing design elements, aligning these with what you’re hoping to create. We take the time to understand your priorities, the outcomes you’re aiming for and the budget you’re working within.
At the end of the consultation, we’ll provide an on-the-spot design quote so we can move forward and begin the design process without delay.
Step 2. Design Phase
Following the initial consultation, one of our designers will return for a more in-depth design consultation. During this visit, we undertake a comprehensive review of your vision, site conditions, infrastructure, opportunities, constraints and budget.
Drawing together your ideas with our design expertise, we develop a hand-drawn concept plan that serves as the foundation for your landscape. This concept outlines the overall layout, spatial flow, key structures, materials and defining features of the garden.
Once the concept is approved, we prepare a detailed digital master plan. This includes refined layouts, material and finish schedules, planting plans, scale drawings, elevations and irrigation planning — providing a clear and comprehensive blueprint for construction.
Step 3. Construction
As part of your landscape design, you will also receive a detailed, itemised construction proposal outlining the full implementation of your project.
Once approved, our team begins procurement and scheduling, carefully coordinating all elements so construction can commence seamlessly and your project can move confidently into the build phase.
